Hunter Realty, a leading national hotel investment advisory services firm, today announced the opening of a new office in Miami, Florida that will focus primarily on the Florida and Caribbean markets. Stephen Taylor joins the company as vice president and will lead hotel brokerage services in Miami.

Previously, Taylor served as managing director of the Miami office of a national hotel brokerage and consulting services firm. Prior to entering the hotel brokerage business, Taylor was a founding partner, president & CEO of Brookshire Hotels, a nationwide full-service hotel management and development company with approximately 30 hotels in its portfolio.
Taylor is a sought-after authority on valuation advisory services and litigation support as a consultant and expert witness on cases where value, performance, branding and operational reviews were at issue. Most recently, he advised an institutional owner in the successful disposition of the Palm Plaza Oceanfront and Beachside Inn Resort in Daytona Beach Shores, Florida.
A frequent speaker at industry conferences and a contributing editor to industry magazines, Taylor has authored numerous articles on hotel real estate, operations and branding. He earned his B.S. in Journalism/Marketing at the University of Florida. He is a licensed Florida real estate broker, Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) and an active member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA).
