A Miami native who advantageously grew up in a real estate family, Renier Casanova has always called South Florida home. Throughout his career, he’s grown close relationships and connections with Miami’s most influential architects and builders, gaining extensive knowledge of premier communities across the market.
Casanova says it’s a privilege to sell what he loves — and what he loves are the premier communities of Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Pinecrest, Miami Beach and Key Biscayne. Yet he positions himself as a consultant for his clients, rather than as a transactional salesperson. “I don’t try to close any house,” he says. “I focus on closing the right house for my client.”
He says he’s even one to talk himself out of a sale at times if the move doesn’t feel right for his clients — but the beauty of this business, he says, “is that if you guide your clients properly, you’ll have a loyal client base for life.”
“I measure my biggest successes by my referral business from previous clients,” Casanova remarks. “Word-of-mouth is the best and worst form of P.R.”
Casanova ranked among the top 100 Compass agents in Florida in 2022. Prior to branching off as a solo agent, he worked for a top producer on a small team. His team leader taught him early about the kind of hard-work ethic real estate requires. He now leads his own team of two and looks forward to growing his brand.
Both Casanova and his fiancé are Platinum Guardian Angels for Jackson Health Foundation and Holtz Children’s Hospital. Outside of work, they enjoy spending time at their waterfront residence and on their boat. “Water is the one thing everyone thinks about when you think of Miami,” he muses. “It offers an unparalleled freedom and lifestyle experience that is the signature of the Magic City.”
