As a college student, Giovanni Caloretti set an ambitious goal for himself: To buy a property after graduation. But the more he learned about the transaction process, the more he became interested in pursuing a career in real estate.
“Instead of just buying a property for myself, I wanted to help others with their purchases,” recalls Caloretti, vice president of sales at Aria Reserve, Melo Real Estate.
A Chicago native, he moved to Miami in 1994 and basically grew up in the area. He quickly learned his way around and immediately became enamored with Miami and the surrounding suburbs. A top-producing agent, Caloretti sold over $60 million of real estate last year all by himself, without the help of a team, which was a great feeling. “I have repeat buyers and sellers, because I go above in beyond with the service I provide,” he says. “It’s all about customer service, honesty and doing a job well done.”
In the business for 12 years, he specializes in new-development sales, luxury residential properties and resale in Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Edgewater, Brickell and downtown Miami. Clients often appreciate his incredible work ethic, attention to detail and knowledge of the market.
“There is no secret, just hard work and persistence,” he says of his success. “You have to show up every day. Get your clients the best deal, help them throughout the process and make sure you are there for them even after you close the deal.”
Grateful to be part of the team at Aria Reserve and sell such a prestigious project, Caloretti is as excited about his career today as he was in the very beginning.
In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, bike riding and spending time with his beautiful daughter and family.
