Manny Aly found his true calling as a mortgage industry professional by happenstance. Helping a friend with open houses inspired him to follow his newfound passion and become a full-time loan officer. Seventeen years later, Aly is the vice president of mortgage lending at Guaranteed Rate, serving a wide variety of English- and Spanish-speaking buyers eager to purchase a property in the South Florida market.

“I don’t look at a mortgage loan as a one-and-done transaction,” he says. “It’s a long-term relationship and I constantly strive to master my craft in order to be able to help my clients.”

Aly takes the time to truly understand his clients’ financial situations before making a recommendation, letting their needs guide his approach. Whether that means assisting them directly or referring them to one of Guaranteed Rate’s niche product specialists, Aly finds the optimal solution. “Every day is a new set of challenges and more people who are looking for a home,” he says. “Knowing that we pulled all the pieces to a mortgage transaction together and made it happen on time and seamlessly is very rewarding.”

Aly has received the Circle of Excellence, Presidents Club and Chairman’s Circle awards from various Fortune 500 companies and has had the opportunity to foster tight bonds with clients over his nearly two decade-long career, resulting in referrals and the chance to work with multiple generations of families.

Aly supports homeless service organizations, animal shelters and children’s causes, particularly by coaching youth sports. Aly enjoys spending time with his wife and son, reading, fishing, and growing orchids and bonsai trees.
