South Florida’s ‘Monarch Estate’ hits the market

by Lindsey Wells

A Douglas Elliman agent has listed South Florida’s “Monarch Estate” for $14 million, according to a press release.

Known for the butterfly sanctuary on its 1.5-acre grounds, the 12,000-square-foot home at 3030 Meadow Ln. is located in the Windmill Ranch Estates community, just north of Miami. The property was listed by Senada Adžem, who leads the Senada Adžem Team at Douglas Elliman Real Estate.

The seven-bedroom home was designed by architect Randall Stofft.

With 2,000 square feet devoted to the kitchen, dining room and family room, the home is ideal for entertaining.

Other amenities include a multi-tiered cinema, 93-foot heated infinity edge pool, in-ground spa, multipurpose sports court and an outdoor kitchen and dining area.

The home is also equipped with smart home technology, a commercial-grade elevator, home gym and a surround-sound system comprising over 100 combined indoor and outdoor speakers.

The estate’s butterfly sanctuary features plants, bushes and shrubs that were carefully chosen to create an ideal environment for all types of butterflies to flourish, the release noted.
