What’s the next “hot” Miami neighborhood and why?

Bay Harbor Islands’ prices are continuing to simmer and warm up. Instead of allowing for huge condo developments and a glut of hundreds and hundreds of new units, Bay Harbor Islands took a different tact and implemented strict height restrictions, encouraging the building of townhomes. As things get more crowded in Miami, Bay Harbor Islands’ unique feel will become even more pronounced and appreciated resulting in higher values.

Imagine incredible Biscayne Bay views, a new, AAA-rated school and a historically designated ‘Miami Modern’ avenue featuring majestic palm trees. Residents dine at gourmet French, Italian, Asian and American restaurants and shop next door in Bal Harbour. The small town has its own police force, free tennis courts and access to pristine beaches. The neighborhood is worth preserving!

The tranquil community of Miami Springs spans generations of residents and remains one of the last real estate secrets of Miami. A historic community with many pueblo-style buildings still in place, Miami Springs remains affordable, despite being located close to all major transportation routes. The city’s circle, lush parks and golf course are charming and quaint, and the new Starbucks is a sign of the growth to come. People still flock to open houses and, this year, four homes have sold at 100 percent of list price. The market in Miami Springs is on the up and up!

Downtown Miami is without question the next hot neighborhood. Where else can you live, work and play all in the same area? With the energy and vibe of cities like New York, Downtown is a waterfront playground and urban epicenter that presents the ideal city living environment. Whether strolling through Bayfront Park, heading to American Airlines Arena for a concert or going to see a play, the ballet or symphony at the Carnival Center for the Performing Arts, there is something for everyone Downtown.

Hollywood Beach is my top pick for the next hot neighborhood and Trump Hollywood is “the” place to buy. It is a sanctuary set between two playgrounds (South Beach and Ft. Lauderdale.) Offering the casual luxury lifestyle Miami Beach had years ago, with things like clam bakes on the beach, this little village is undergoing a huge transformation that includes a new boardwalk, major destinations like the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa, championship golf at the Diplomat Country Club as well as some fun when you want at places like Nikki Marina. Prior to me now telling you and the world that Hollywood Beach is going to be the great surprise in this market, it has been the best kept secret in South Florida. Why else would I live there?
