Claudia Castaño is a seasoned mortgage and real estate professional with over 25 years of experience helping clients navigate complex financial decisions with clarity and confidence. As the founder and director of Miami Lending Advisors, she built an award-winning boutique mortgage brokerage known for its creative, client-first approach to financing. 

Miami Lending Advisors specializes in structuring custom loan solutions for high-net-worth individuals, investors and foreign nationals — with deep expertise in jumbo loans, luxury purchases and non-warrantable condos. 

In 2025, Miami Lending Advisors was named Lender of the Year by South Florida Agent Magazine — a recognition that reflects the firm’s commitment to precision, integrity and results in one of the country’s most competitive markets. Since 2016, Castaño has focused on bridging the gap between high-end real estate and personalized financing strategies, delivering a seamless experience from pre-approval to closing. 

Castaño’s work with international buyers and cross-border clients is personal as well as professional. Born in Colombia and having traveled to over 50 countries, she understands the financial complexity and the human side of relocating, investing abroad and building wealth across borders. 

That same perspective shapes her work in Puerto Rico. She is part of Corcoran Puerto Rico, where she helps clients relocate to the island with confidence. As an Act 60 resident herself, she brings both professional guidance and firsthand experience to individuals and families looking to build a life there — from real estate acquisitions to community integration. 

Castaño serves on the board of directors of the Blue Diamond Condominium Association in Miami Beach and the Citizen Board at the University of Miami and proudly supports underserved communities through the Maestro Cares Foundation. Castaño holds a Master’s in Finance from Universidad Icesi and a Master’s in Business Administration from Tulane University.
