Most known for his six Grand Prix victories across 14 seasons in the Formula One World Championship, former racing driver Sergio “Checo” Pérez can now slow down and enjoy the view from his recently purchased four-bedroom luxury condo at Related Group’s St. Regis Residences in Miami.

Located on the Biscayne Bay waterfront in Miami’s South Brickell neighborhood, the property offers panoramic waterfront views easily appreciated from a 750-square-foot terrace. Amid his highly publicized retirement from F1’s Red Bull Racing team, the motorsports legend was drawn to the location’s seclusion and lifestyle.

“Miami has become incredibly special to me after spending the past few years here for F1,” said Pérez. “I look forward to enjoying this stunning new home with my family and friends. I’ve always been drawn to the St. Regis brand, and with the towers’ privacy and prime location in Brickell, it’s the perfect place to call home.”

Pérez worked with Miami Real Investment to land the property. “We are thrilled to have assisted Checo in finding his ideal Miami home,” said Hans Baumgartner, President of Miami Real Investment. “His connection to the city and appreciation for world-class living made the St. Regis Residences, Miami, a clear choice, and we’re proud to have facilitated this important step in his real estate investment journey.”

The 50-story St. Regis Residences tower contains 152 bespoke residences including penthouses, sky villas and two exclusive stand-alone garden villas. All properties feature luxurious interiors designed by The Rockwell Group. The Related Group and Integra Investments broke ground for the tower’s construction in November. About 65% of the units in the tower have been claimed, with completion expected in 2027. Prices for the remaining units start at $5 million.

The project marks the first residential development in South Florida for Robert A.M. Stern Architects.
