Global hospitality company Raffles Hotels & Resorts is building its first standalone residential development in its 139-year history in Coconut Grove.
Raffles Residences Coconut Grove is being developed in partnership with South Florida’s Mast Capital and BH Group. It will have 35 private residences, with two- to 4.5-bedroom residences starting at $4.5 million.
The project, located at 2545 South Bayshore Drive on Biscayne Bay, will begin selling this fall. Douglas Elliman Development Marketing’s Matthew Chook will lead sales and marketing with agents Lourdes Alatriste, Jennifer Goldstein and Jorge Sanchez.
Currently owned by the Accor hospitality company, Raffles began in 1887 with Raffles Singapore and has expanded across the globe with properties in Boston, Paris, London, Istanbul, Dubai, Doha, Jaipur, Phnom Penh and Bali, among others.
“Raffles has always evolved by bringing its distinctive spirit to new destinations. As a neighborhood with a rich cultural heritage, a strong sense of community and an effortless sophistication, Coconut Grove is a natural first for our first standalone, branded residences,” Raffles CEO Omer Acar said. “Through Raffles Residences Coconut Grove, we are excited to introduce the magical world of Raffles to this unique corner of Miami and look forward to creating a highly personalized residential experience that also feels authentically connected to the community.”
Through the Accor Ownership Benefits Program, owners will have access to global VIP recognition and Elite membership in the ALL Accor loyalty and rewards program, with access to preferred rates at more than 5,800 Accor hotels and resorts.
“At this scale, the Raffles philosophy of hospitality can be experienced on a deeply personal level,” BH Group Founder Isaac Toledano said. “Homeowners can be known, their preferences understood and the experience shaped around the way they live.”
