In 35 years, Martha Pomares has experienced success at every level of her career. During her time as a Realtor, she was recognized by her company as a top 2% producer nationwide, and as a broker-owner, she not only built a successful business, but served as president and chair of the MIAMI Association of REALTORS®. She currently serves as a managing broker for Douglas Elliman, where she manages over 200 Realtors in the Coral Gables, Coconut Grove and Brickell markets.
Pomares’ office consistently meets or exceeds production goals and enjoys a high retention rate in one of the country’s most competitive real estate markets. Pomares is a recognized bilingual trainer both locally and at the state level and is one of the most recognized professionals in the industry, thanks to her years serving as an advocate and trainer.
Born in Cuba, Pomares’ family immigrated to Mexico when she was five and arrived in Miami when she was 12. Her commitment to the community through her advocacy in the industry and extensive volunteering can be traced to those early years, and she has enthusiastically served Kiwanis International of Westchester/Key Biscayne, St. Jude’s Children Hospital and Belen Jesuit Preparatory School throughout her career.
