Douglas Elliman Realty honors top Florida agents

Douglas Elliman announced the winners of its 2022 Ellie Awards this week, recognizing the company’s top teams and agents across the country after a record-setting year for the firm.

On the whole, Douglas Elliman topped $51 billion in closed sales in 2021. The Florida brokerage accounted for $14.6 billion in total sales for 2021, more than double from 2020.

“We are enormously proud of our unflagging agents and teams who contributed to the enormous success we achieved in 2021,” said Howard M. Lorber, executive chairman of Douglas Elliman Realty. “It is because of their dedication and hard work that we were able to shatter our sales record with more than $51 billion in sales volume. A monumental year by any measurement.”

Ray Jacomo, based out of Miami Beach, received Florida’s Rookie of the Year award. Sue Tauriello, based in Delray Beach, received the Lifetime Achievement award. 

Dina Goldentayer, out of Miami, was the top agent by volume in Florida and earned the top gross commission income of any Douglas Elliman agent nationwide.  

“Our agents are driving the market in Florida with their talent, leadership, ingenuity and unwavering commitment to client service. (It) was a competitive and challenging year in residential real estate, and Douglas Elliman agents rose to every occasion, resulting in another round of record sales and market-defining achievements,” said Jay Phillip Parker, CEO of Douglas Elliman Florida.
