Construction of Fort Lauderdale beach’s tallest building begins in November

by Stacy Carchman

Kolter Urban has launched Selene Oceanfront Residences on Fort Lauderdale Beach. This project will be the tallest building in Fort Lauderdale beach at 26-stories.

The property will be comprised of two slender towers rising 300 feet and will offer 200 residences with several floorplans, including penthouses. The buildings will include 5,300 square feet of restaurant space at the base of the buildings, according to a press release.

“The inspiration behind Selene was to create thoughtfully designed ‘homes in the sky’ on Fort Lauderdale’s iconic beach,” Bob Vail, president of Kolter Urban, said in a release.

Two-and-three bedroom residences will range from 1,400 to 3,200 square feet, along with the exclusive penthouses. Seven of the nine available floor plans are positioned on glass corners with breathtaking views.

The developer will commence construction in November 2021 and is expected to complete the project in early 2024.
