RE/MAX expands team

Despite the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic and shelter-in-place safety measures, Miami’s RE/MAX Advance Realty announced it has recruited 11 new agents from April to August 2020.

Luis and Deborah Padilla became team members in May through RMA’s acquisition of their former RE/MAX Oceanside Realty in North Miami. Neil Guyadeen joined the company in May after relocating to South Florida from Orlando, in a move that provided RMA with MLS access to that city and allowed agents practicing in Orlando to also join the office.

Also added to the RMA team in 2020 are agents Antonio Aguirre, Luis Apa, Pierre Cameau, Fernando De Carolis, Sean Guim, Mariela Mendoza, Robert Monterola, and Alain Sequiero.

“While the world has certainly changed dramatically since March, our mission to recruit and hire smart, ambitious, and experienced agents remains consistent,” said RMA broker/owner Anthony Askowitz in a press release. “Miami’s real estate market may be struggling in some sectors, but the pandemic and economic factors have generated strong and growing interest in relocation to our city from other parts of the country. We are pleased to be adding so many outstanding agents during this promising but unpredictable moment.”

Tyler Biddle-Barrows joins Brown Harris Stevens Miami

Tyler Biddle-Barrows has joined Brown Harris Stevens Miami, where he will work with one of the firm’s top producing teams, the Keith & Sonia Team, led by real estate veterans and South of Fifth specialists Keith Marks and Sonia Toth.

Prior to relocating to Miami, Biddle-Barrows worked in New York City, where he was an agent with Douglas Elliman and in Beverly Hills where he was with Hilton & Hyland. In both cases, he worked alongside top-producing teams ranked among the top 1% of all agents in the city.

“Tyler is a great addition to BHS Miami, and we’re pleased to officially welcome him to the team,” said Brown Harris Stevens President Phil Gutman in a press release. “His experience with high end properties and luxury buyers and sellers on both coasts has well prepared him to excel with us in Miami. Particularly, his experience in New York is an asset to the increasing number of individuals and families from the Northeast interested in relocating or buying second homes in Miami Beach.”
