Describe your look: With the intense heat in Miami, I like to keep my look light and flowy while still keeping it professional. I like to use pops of color, as well. I think bright colors make people seem more approachable.
What do you consider a “fashion don’t?” When people look uncomfortable in their own clothes. When you’re running around all day doing showings and coming in and out of the heat, comfort is key. The trick is to master looking comfortable while still looking stylish and professional.
What is your favorite piece of clothing and why? My favorite piece of clothing is probably yoga pants or just gym clothes in general. If it was socially acceptable, I would wear them everywhere. Unfortunately, it’s not, so I just stick to wearing them to the gym or around the house.
What do you consider a must-have accessory? I really don’t wear many accessories. I like to keep it simple. But I do always wear a pair of diamond stud earrings just to add a little sparkle.
What is a fashion crime you have committed in the past? There are probably too many to list. I think we’ve all had our fair share of fashion crimes over the years, but as long as you learn from them, that’s all that matters.
Where are your favorite places to shop? I honestly love a good deal, so I prefer places like Marshall’s. You have to have a little patience to shop at places like these, but I’m always so happy when I find a little gem out of nowhere. People are always asking me where I get things, and when I say Marshall’s they’re shocked.
What, besides your wardrobe, completes your look? I have a little necklace with my initials on in that I wear with every single outfit. I never take it off. It’s so simple and adds a nice little touch to any outfit.
What is in your bag/brief case? My purse has my planner, wallet, sunglasses, lip gloss, cell phone, tablet and business cards (of course). It doubles as my briefcase usually. I can fit a lot of stuff in there!
My closet is full of…sun dresses! They’re so comfortable. I’m always wearing them when I’m not working.
What is your style advice for other people in the industry? Dress age appropriate and don’t overdo it. I see so many people that just try too hard. Your look should seem natural.
