Work Experience
Steven Gelb has more than 24 years of experience in the real estate development field and construction industry. He has been involved with project development from beginning to end in every aspect. Some of the positions that he has held are principal, chief development officer and property manager, all before his current position as Florida partner of E.A. Fish Associates, Florida.

As Florida partner, he managed the entitlement and development process for a 250-acre residential/commercial mixed-use project that is part of the state of Florida’s Development of Regional Impact. The project included 283 multi-family apartments, 400 single-family detached and attached homes and 265,000 square feet of commercial/retail space.

Prior to E.A. Fish Associates, Gelb worked for the Sutton Group of Palm Beach as a partner of a real estate development, investment, management and leasing company. Gelb also worked for the Wellesley Group as chief development officer where he developed a chain of 24 Wellesley Inns, hotel properties, from Connecticut to Florida.

Current Projects
Latitude on the River is a mixed-use urban project located in Brickell Village on the Miami Riverwalk. Latitude on the River is 44 stories, and houses 452 residential condominiums, the 10,000-square-foot Riverfront Restaurant and Latitude One, a 230,000-square-foot Class A office condominium with ground floor retail.

Recently Completed Projects
University Common is a 250-acre, mixed-use project located in Sarasota with 900-plus units.

Community Involvement
Gelb has coached basketball for Boca Hoops, a city league in Boca Raton for the past 14 years.

Interests/Activities
Gelb’s interests include snow skiing, fishing, avid fitness training, traveling abroad and studying architecture, both modern and old world classics.
