The international flavor of Miami is like a second skin for Susette “Susie” Prada, who deals in new construction and developments catering to luxury and international buyers, particularly those from Latin America.
Originally from Colombia, Prada has been a Miami resident since 2000. “As a gateway to Latin American and Caribbean trade markets, South Florida residents enjoy a vibrant international banking center, one of the world’s most extensive transportation systems, a state-of-the-art shipping and cruise port, plus an exciting startup and business network of companies from all over the world,” gushes Prada. “Combined with year-round sunshine and all the residential, culinary and entertainment offerings, you can enjoy life to its fullest here.”
Prada’s journey into real estate began during a corporate stint at a Miami finance company. As she witnessed a growing interest in Miami property investments, she transitioned to real estate. Today, after 11 years in the business, she has achieved Platinum Circle status at her firm for two consecutive years and represents exclusive developments like Casa Bella by B&B Italia. She credits her success to being “very organized, with great time management and customer service skills.”
The business style Prada embraces reflects her love for her clients. “I love working with people,” she stresses. “I like to listen to the buyers about their needs and then work toward the best options for them.” In addition to her role as vice president of sales at Casa Bella, Prada has team leaders in countries that include Colombia, Mexico and Ecuador. Involved with the nonprofit organization A La Rueda Rueda in Colombia, she supports children in need, as well.
Outside of work, Prada enjoys gardening, quality time with her family, traveling, exploring new restaurants with friends and maintaining a healthy lifestyle through regular workouts and weight training.
