Daniel Villazon, Attorney

Law Office of Daniel Villazon, P.A.

After earning his bachelor’s degree from Florida International University and his JD from Florida State University College of Law, Daniel Villazon started his career as a criminal defense attorney before opening his own law office. “As a former prosecutor and legal counsel for the Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC), I saw a need for real estate licensees to have competent legal representation,” he explains.

Villazon established his practice to protect people’s legal rights when interacting with FREC, the Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board and the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation’s real estate division. He stands out from his competitors due to his extensive knowledge and years of experience. “I have handled literally hundreds of cases before FREC,” he states. “I believe in my clients and I have a desire for them to succeed.” Also a graduate of the National Criminal Defense College, he has litigated numerous cases in county, circuit and appellate courts in Florida.

Villazon has been the board attorney for the Osceola County Board of Realtors since 2002 and for Greater Tampa Realtors since 2021. Past affiliations include board attorney for the East Polk County Association of Realtors, special board attorney for the Orlando Regional Realtor Association and chairman of the Florida Realtor Board Attorney Council. Recognized for his responsiveness and positive results, he has been representing real estate professionals at ethics and commission arbitration cases before local Realtor boards statewide for over 20 years.

Last year, Villazon obtained large commission awards for his clients from the Miami Association of Realtors arbitration hearing panels. When not working, he enjoys reading and traveling.
