Miami-based developer Ytech recently hosted a groundbreaking of The Residences at 1428 Brickell, a 70-story, 195-condominium tower set to rise in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood.
The project will be the first-ever high-rise residential tower partially powered by the sun, thanks to photovoltaic glazing within the building’s façade. Residences will be priced from $3 million to $7 million and come in fully finished two- to four-bedroom plus-den floor plans ranging from 1,800 to 4,000 square feet.
At the groundbreaking, guests entered via a red carpet before being treated to food and drink, live music and a ceremonial shovel dig. After the dig, guests were guided to a nearby tent for more hors d’ouevres and champagne as they listened to remarks from Ytech CEO Yamal Yidios, Cervera Real Estate Managing Partner Alicia Cervera Lamadrid and Arquitectonica’s Bernardo Fort-Brescia.
