Work Experience:
Michael founded MCZ Development Corp. in 1985, and he remains at the helm of this ever-growing billion-dollar empire. The adaptive reuse of exceptional and historic buildings and neighborhoods is MCZ Development’s specialty.
In 2003, MCZ development partnered with a Chicago-based development firm, Centrum Properties, to enter new markets in other states including Florida where MCZ/Centrum has completed five projects and are active in five more.
At the forefront of the MCZ/Centrum effort has been the conversion of rental communities into for-sale condominiums in highly sought after neighborhoods in South and Central Florida.
Lerner is an expert in all facets of residential and mixed-use development, including adaptive reuse urban developments, condo-conversions, condo-hotels and new construction across numerous states.

Sian Ocean Residences is a multi-phase residential enclave with a luxury condominium, condo/hotel and beach club components located directly on the ocean and stretches across to the Intracoastal in South Florida’s Hollywood Beach at 4001 S. Ocean Drive
The Flamingo South Beach, on the shores of Biscayne Bay and just footsteps away from Lincoln Road, is located at 1500 Bay Road. Anchored by the Bay, The Flamingo more than epitomizes the South Beach lifestyle.
Parc Central East’s 20-story eastern tower encompasses 12 acres, and overlooks the Turnberry Golf Course, the city of Aventura and the Intracoastal. The property is located at 3300 NE 192nd Avenue.
The Palms Club, a 460-unit community is located at 5584 Metrowest Blvd. in Orlando, offering one, two and three-bedroom residences ranging in size from 714 to 1,368 square feet.
Mirabella, a 304-unit gated community in Orlando is an 18-acre, Tuscan-inspired condominium property with units ranging in size from 745 to 1,469 square feet. The property is located at 19927 Villa Square Drive.
Serenata Sarasota is a garden-style community located just west of Interstate 75 and east of Gulf Beaches. The gated complex spans across 18 acres including 240 units comprised of one, two and three bedroom residences range in size from 731 to 1,372 square feet.
