Homes in the eight-story building will be reserved for those earning between 30% and 110% of the area median income.
The plot of land is located at 6210-6282 N Andrews Ave. in Fort Lauderdale’s Uptown Business District within the Cypress Creek submarket.
The development is slated to bring over 300 homes to the heart of downtown Boca Raton.
In addition to the re-built 1920s-era Villa Prescott, Prescott Estates will feature four new waterfront luxury homes on Biscayne Bay.
Each condo will feature floor-to-ceiling windows and offer views of the Atlantic Ocean, Intracoastal Waterway and downtown Pompano Beach.
The 30-story tower will be one of Miami’s first high-rise development to take advantage of Florida’s Live Local Act, which provides developers economic incentives to include affordable housing in new projects.
Construction began in June, and developers ANF and Housing Trust Group plan to complete the $185 million mixed-use project by early 2027.
