On Friday, June 5, New York-based real estate development company, Morabito Properties, announced the topping off of Beach House 8. Located in Miami Beach, this 10-story, eight-unit luxury condominium is scheduled for completion at the end of 2015.
The glass tower, located at 3651 Collins Avenue, sold out before even breaking ground in June 2014. The building also sold before plans for a sales center were implemented and before marketing materials were completed.
A traditional topping off ceremony, marking placement of the last piece of steel on the tower’s 10th floor, was held at the construction site on June 5. The project’s executive leaders from Morabito Properties and Arquitectonica joined the 100+ construction workers and consultants behind the successful construction milestone for a luncheon and raffle. Valerio Morabito, CEO of Morabito Properties talked about his excitement for the projects completion.
“To be topped off on schedule and nearing completion is tremendously exciting for us and our buyers. We owe this important milestone to our outstanding construction and design teams,” said Valerio Morabito. “Equally impressive is the rapid pace at which the homes at Beach House 8 were sold, which is owed to the project’s unmatched levels of detail and quality – from custom-designed doors by Lualdi, a fifth-generation Italian family business, to Boffi-designed bathrooms and kitchens.”
The all-glass tower was designed by renowned architect Bernardo Fort-Brescia of Arquitectonica and includes interiors by internationally acclaimed Italian designer Michele Bonan.
Beach House 8 is the last waterfront property located within the historic Collins Waterfront Architectural District. The limited collection of full-floor residences represents the rise of luxury boutique developments in Miami Beach and the surrounding area.
