The day’s second groundbreaking had italian design star Piero Lissoni, The Related Group team and partnering developer Alta Developers shoveling the first plots of land, kicking-off construction at their latest project in the East Edgewater neighborhood, an area dubbed by the New York Post as “a development hotspot.” The property will be the most amenity filled chapter in the bay front neighborhood.  Guests enjoyed catering by celebrity chef and developer of the upcoming beach club, Michael Schwartz, catching a glimpse into what daily life in the budding community will be like: sea breeze, great views and a place for families and singles alike to grow.
