Originally from Miami and fluent in English and Spanish, Nicolas spent much of his childhood in the Dominican Republic but spent his school-age years in Coral Gables and Coconut Grove. He attended Freed-Hardeman University in Tennessee, and since graduation has lived in New York, Los Angeles and Dallas. When he returned to Miami, Nicolas opened his own personal training company, Quality Fitness, which allowed him to use his knowledge of human performance and his degrees in exercise science to help others achieve their fitness goals.
