Rhapsody at Rainbow Village has hit a major milestone with construction topping out. Once complete, the community will offer affordable housing in Miami’s historic Overtown neighborhood.

Construction began in June, and developers ANF and Housing Trust Group plan to complete the $185 million mixed-use project by early 2027.

Plans for Rhapsody at Rainbow Village feature 310 affordable apartments and amenities such as a pool, fitness center, business center, daycare, playground, courtyards, theatre room, juice bar, bike storage area, study zones and a community center.

Local leaders including Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, Commissioner Keon Hardemon, Commissioner Christine King and Housing Trust Group President and CEO Matthew Rieger celebrated construction progress at a topping out ceremony on Sept. 3.

“Reaching the topping-out milestone at Rhapsody at Rainbow Village is a proud achievement for our entire team,” said Al Fernandez, CEO of ANF in a press release. “This development is more than just a building — it is an investment in Miami’s future and a commitment to creating safe, high-quality and affordable housing for families who need it most in the Overtown community. We’re honored to partner with Housing Trust Group in bringing this transformative vision to life.”
