Robin Schmid leaves Douglas Elliman for ONE Sotheby’s

by John Yellig

Real estate veteran Robin Schmid has returned to the Sotheby’s network after nearly a decade at Douglas Elliman to become ONE Sotheby’s International Realty’s vice president of marketing.

In her new role, Schmid will lead a 25-person team and oversee the brokerage’s integrated marketing efforts, including brand strategy, agent support, strategic partnerships and high-impact events.

Schmid most recently served as associate vice president of marketing at Douglas Elliman, which she helped expand from nine to 28 offices. She also helped shape the visual identity of its sports and entertainment division and established strategic partnerships.

Before moving to Douglas Elliman, Schmid was the director of marketing at Coastal Sotheby’s International Realty.

“Coming back to the Sotheby’s International Realty network truly feels like coming home,” Schmid said in a press release. “I have always been drawn to the brand’s legacy and ability to remain at the forefront when it comes to innovation and marketing. This role offers an incredible opportunity to spearhead bold, impactful campaigns that deliver meaningful results for our agents and their clients with deep local touchpoints and across the globe.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Robin to our growing leadership team,” ONE Sotheby’s President Daniel de la Vega added. “Her proven ability to lead high-performing marketing teams, combined with her creative vision and dynamic personality, will continue to propel our brand forward and empower our agents to succeed at the highest level.”

Schmid is based in West Palm Beach, where she lives with her husband and twin daughters.
