After a four-month stint at Compass, luxury-sales veteran Nikol Solares has returned to Douglas Elliman as executive vice president of sales and strategy. 

In January, Compass announced that Solares had joined its ranks as senior managing director of new development marketing. She was serving as senior vice president of sales and marketing for new development at Douglas Elliman when she made that move. 

With more than 20 years in the industry, Solares has overseen sales at numerous South Florida luxury projects, including the Ritz-Carlton Residences Miami Beach, The Standard in Midtown and The Edition Residences in Edgewater.
