Brooklyn-based developer Dependable Equities is set to begin construction of Ombelle Fort Lauderdale, a pair of 43-story towers with 775 condominiums, in Fort Lauderdale’s Flagler Village.
The development, located at 300 NE 3rd Ave., will have over 11,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and 100,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities. Douglas Elliman Development Marketing is handling sales and marketing.
Designed by ODA, the residences, priced from $400,000, range from 465-square-foot studios to 1,400-square-foot three bedrooms, as well as penthouses of up to 2,600 square feet. Units will offer smart-building technology, Italian custom-designed kitchens and bathrooms, open-concept designs and 10-foot ceilings in main living areas. Fully furnished packages will be available. Units may be rented out for a minimum of 30 days.
The North Tower will offer a landscaped indoor lounge, chef’s Kitchen, dining room and dining lounge, coworking suite, library, music room, recording studio and two indoor pickleball courts. The South Tower will offer an indoor lounge, fitness center, wellness lounge, video game room and children’s playroom with indoor and outdoor space. There will also be a resort-style lap pool and plunge pool with pool-side cabanas on top of a shared, nine-story podium.
“Ombelle Fort Lauderdale’s expertly designed residences and over 100,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenity offerings go far beyond traditional expectations to encompass a holistic, active lifestyle all within the property itself,” Dependable Equities Principal Isaac Schlesinger said. “Ombelle will offer the highest-end finishes at prices not seen in today’s new development market in South Florida.”
