Industry MVP: Judy Zeder, Coldwell Banker Realty

by South Florida Agent

A Miami resident since 1978, Judy Zeder became a Realtor after realizing she could channel her abundant energy, outgoing nature and dedicated work ethic into the job. That was over 25 years ago. Zeder quickly made a name for herself, merging the many friends and contacts she’d made living in South Florida for decades.

She brought her son, Nathan, into the business in 2003, forming The Zeder Team. Her daughter, Kara, joined in 2009. Today, The Zeder Team is one of the top-ranking residential real estate groups in Miami. In 2019, The Jills Zeder Group, affiliated with Coldwell Banker Realty, was born. In 2021, it broke its own record with $2.25 billion in annual transactions. In 2022, the team was named the No. 1 Large Team in the REAL Trends “The Thousand” List, achieving the highest sales volume nationwide.

Outside of real estate, Zeder remains active in philanthropy, fundraising for charities like The Junior League, Beaux Arts, the American Red Cross, Villagers, Kristi House, the Detroit branch of Women of Tomorrow, Doctors Hospital, Baptist Health System, United Way of Miami-Dade, Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce and The Underline. She’s served as an officer or board member for many of those organizations; currently, she’s on the board of directors of the Baptist Health of South Florida Foundation, the Doctors Hospital Foundation Council and The Underline, and she sits on the Community Advisory Board of Care Elementary School.

In 2023, she won the Philanthropic Impact Award from The Hollywood Reporter’s Miami-Palm Beach Power Broker Awards. The same year, she was named among the Most Influential Business Women by the South Florida Business Journal.

Finalists
