A recent Fort Lauderdale sale broke the price-per-square-foot record for Broward County. According to public records, the house at 2412 Laguna Drive in Harbor Beach closed for $30 million, equating to $3,174 per square foot.
The seller was represented by Chad Carroll with The Carroll Group at Compass, while the buyer was represented by Brady Thrasher with RE/MAX. The home previously sold for $23 million just over two years ago.
The six-bedroom, 7.5-bathroom property was designed by Randall Stofft and built by Sarkela Corp. High-end interior features include a great room, club room, prep kitchen and 200-bottle wine cellar, as well as DuChateau oak floors, Italian cabinetry, Dornbracht bath fixtures, Creston smart home systems and Terzani chandeliers. Outside, the landscape includes an outdoor kitchen, a lap pool and 120 feet of waterfront space.
The buyers will join several high-profile neighbors in their new neighborhood of Harbor Beach, including former NBA star Scottie Pippen and Tampa Bay running back Giovani Bernard.
