Boston Red Sox legend David “Big Papi” Ortiz recently sold his home for $10,55 million, the priciest sale in the history of Pinecrest.
ONE Sotheby’s International Realty represented both sides of the transaction. Michael Martinez represented Ortiz, and Dennis Carvajal was the buyer’s agent.
The five-bedroom, eight-bathroom mansion spans 10,178 square feet. Amenities include a custom home theater, a sports bar with a video wall of nine paneled screens and an outdoor entertainment area with pool, gazebo and summer kitchen. Other features include an elevator, three fire pits and staff quarters.
Ortiz retired from Major League Baseball in 2016. He was named to the All-Star team 10 times and led the Red Sox to three World Series championships.
