Miami top producer launches philanthropic incentive program

by Lindsey Wells

As demand for luxury homes in Miami remains steady and little inventory is left behind, real estate agents rely on creativity and value-added incentives and connections to stand out. One Miami agent is banking on attracting new business by giving back to the community.

Techrin Hijazi, an agent with Brown Harris Stevens Miami, has rolled out a new donation-driven incentive for new business or referrals. As a “thank-you” to clients who list with her or refer a listing to her, Hijazi will make a financial donation to a charity of their choice, according to a press release.

Hijazi, who specializes in ultra-luxury waterfront properties and regularly sells properties for upwards of $10 million, has committed to donating a percentage of her commission earnings to this cause.

This is not the first time Hijazi has earmarked earnings to support those in need. In the past, she has privately contributed portions of her earnings to underdeveloped countries and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the release noted.

“I am very passionate about my role as a real estate professional. It’s incredibly rewarding to successfully complete a closing — this is when we are rewarded for our hard work and creativity,” Hijazi said. “I am grateful that my work affords me the opportunity to help others in need. With so many buyers and sellers in such a busy real estate market, I felt it was the perfect time to share the opportunity to give back with others.”
