Construction underway for new Hialeah apartment complex

MG Developer recently broke ground on Metro Parc, a new 10-story residential apartment complex in Hialeah.

Led by Alirio Torrealba, the developer will build two mixed-use towers that will hold 560 units, according to a press release.

Residents can choose from studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments ranging from 500 to 1,000 square feet. Amenities will include coworking spaces, a pool, gym and an outdoor kitchen.

The ground level will feature resort-style landscaping, retail spaces, ample parking and a food marketplace.

“We are truly excited about moving into the Hialeah market and sharing our expertise of building luxury and high standard of living and lifestyle in a growing city,” said Torrealba, CEO and founder of MG Developer.

The 3.26-acre site will be located between 955 East 24th St. and 980 East 26th St., within walking distance of Hialeah Medical Services and Amelia Earhart Park.

“This is an exciting milestone for the city of Hialeah,” said Carlos Hernandez, Hialeah Mayor Carlos Hernandez said in the release. “High-quality housing options are key to the city’s success.”

MG Developer announced additional plans to break ground on two projects in Coral Gables, a 50-residence site called Gables Village and a set of 10 residential townhomes in Biltmore Square.
