MLB player sells Southwest Ranches home for $7.4M

by Lindsey Wells

MLB player Asdrúbal Cabrera, a Cincinnati Reds third baseman, recently sold his Southwest Ranches home for a record-setting $7,410,000.

The sale sets a record for the highest price per square foot in the gated community of Landmark Ranch Estates, according to a press release.

The newly constructed modern home was crafted by notable architecture firm Choeff Levy Fischman, designed by B+G Design and built by Rick Bell of Landmark Custom Homes.

The 9,300-square-foot home, located at 17000 Stratford Court, has seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms and two half-bathrooms.

Global Luxury Specialist Giselle Bonetti and Nayrobi Garcia represented Cabrera in the sale. Bonetti and Garcia are affiliated with Coldwell Banker Realty’s Weston office.

“Southwest Ranches is a highly desirable community for high profile people because the communities here offer incredible size, space and privacy, especially in this gated community, all while being at a convenient distance from the city, the airport and other prominent South Florida attractions,” Bonetti said. “This property offers exceptional design and comfort, and I’m honored to represent my client in this record sale.”
