Lennar Homes tops the list of FORTUNE Magazine’s 2021 List of Most Admired Companies, earning the No. 1 spot in the Most Admired Homebuilder category. Lennar, a national homebuilder based in the Miami area, was founded in 1954 and is one of the most recognizable names in the homebuilding industry.

This annual survey is conducted by FORTUNE and Korn Ferry, a global consulting firm that identifies the companies that have the strongest reputations within their industry and across industries. Some of the factors that the survey uncovers is the innovation of the company, people management, use of corporate assets, social responsibility, quality of management, financial soundness, long-term investment, quality of products and services and global competitiveness.

“We are honored to be named as the No. 1 Homebuilder in the world on the FORTUNE World’s Most Admired Companies list, which we believe is a reflection of our excellent operating platform coupled with a comprehensive technology strategy,” Stuart Miller, executive chairman of Lennar, said in a recent press release.
