Lourdes Alatriste joins Douglas Elliman

Lourdes Alatriste, Miami’s No. 1 producing agent at Engel & Völkers, has joined Douglas Elliman’s Coral Gables office.

Alatriste brings over $200 million in active listings to Douglas Elliman, along with such high-profile clientele as NBA and Miami Heat icons Chris Bosh and Alonzo Mourning. As a Knight Frank Residential card holder, Alatriste will focus on nurturing existing relationships and fostering new ones with international clientele.

“We are honored to welcome Lourdes Alatriste and her team to Douglas Elliman,” said Douglas Elliman Florida CEO Jay Phillip Parker in a press release. “Lourdes’ highly regarded reputation and personal achievements, coupled with her powerful and trusted client base, will make her and her team a tremendous asset to our brokerage’s South Florida footprint. Her brokerage skills directly align with the level of professionalism we promote at Douglas Elliman.”

A top-producing agent at Engel & Völkers Miami, since 2010, Alatriste was awarded the title of a top producer nationwide in 2012 and No. 10 by sales volume globally in 2018. She also holds the title of the most sales and highest volume in Miami Beach’s Palm Island in the last two years.

“The decision to join Douglas Elliman was based on the strength of their luxury brand, both nationally and internationally, as we continue to see strong interest in South Florida from buyers from across the country and around the world,” Alatriste said in the press release. “Douglas Elliman provides a multitude of impressive platforms to effectively market properties and properly service our global clientele through their best-in-class technology, marketing, and public relations, I look forward to providing superior service to our valued clients.”

Also joining Douglas Elliman are Alatriste’s team members Mariana Martinez and Renier Casanova.

RelatedISG International Realty expands corporate leadership team

Liz Lopez has been named the new vice president at RelatedISG, while Sandra Arguello joins the brokerage as senior marketing director.

In her new role, Lopez will lead operations at the firm’s Brickell, Coral Gables and Edgewater offices and play an active role in recruiting and training agents.

As senior marketing director of the luxury real estate brokerage, Arguello will work with the firm’s marketing team to spearhead the development of new marketing initiatives.

“We have been committed to carefully curating the right people to join our corporate leadership team to continue expanding RelatedISG and solidifying our presence as a powerhouse in the South Florida real estate industry,” said RelatedISG International Realty President Craig Studnicky in a press release. “From the recent hire of the president of our commercial division to filling our vice president and senior marketing roles, we are taking the necessary steps to have a team in place who can help take our brokerage to new levels.”

An established luxury real estate specialist, Lopez joined RelatedISG in 2014 as an agent with Realty Concierge Group and served as a Realtor associate until becoming a sales manager in 2015.

“This new role allows me to embrace one of the most exciting challenges I have ever taken on as a professional,” Lopez said in the press release. “I have been with RelatedISG for five years and have had the privilege of watching our firm grow into the powerhouse it is today. Working with the team has given me the opportunity to build strong teams at several premier locations.”

Arguello joins RelatedISG from Douglas Elliman’s Development Marketing team, where she was senior marketing director.

“RelatedISG sets itself apart from other brokerages by providing an incredible range of services to its agents,” Arguello said. “It’s evident that the firm is positioned to see strong growth in the future, and it’s exciting to be part of the brokerage’s evolution.”

Metropica names Cindy Leventhal director of sales and marketing

Metropica, one of the nation’s largest under-construction mixed-use communities, has appointed industry veteran Cindy Leventhal as director of sales and marketing.

Most recently with Compass, where she oversaw sales at Amrit Ocean Resort & Residences in Riviera Beach, Leventhal will bring her extensive sales expertise to the $1.5 billion, 65-acre master-planned community.

“As residents continue to move into One Metropica and we surpass the 75% sold milestone, we wanted to engage someone in this capacity who can both help us finalize sales in this initial building, as well as pivot into future residential developments,” said Metropica Development CEO Joseph Kavana in a press release.  “Cindy is not only a consummate professional, she is immensely trusted and respected by her industry peers.”

When complete, Metropica will encompass approximately 4 million square feet, which will include more than 2,250 residential units; an array of dining and shopping experiences; 650,000 square feet of Class A office space; public spaces dedicated to the arts and boutique luxury hotels.
