Miami agents and teams make Top 250 Latino Agents list

Outstanding Latino real estate agents and teams got their due this week with the release of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals’ Top 250 Latino Agents Report.

The report includes rankings for agents by volume, top Latino teams and agents by major market regions. Combined they represent over $6.86 billion in 2019 sales.

“It makes me proud to see the exceptional quality of professionals in the Top 250 Latino Agents Report, who are working hard to elevate our industry and provide the best service to our consumers,” 2020 NAHREP President Sara Rodriguez said in a press release. “Congratulations to these agents who have worked very hard to be in the top percentage of our industry.”

Nelson Gonzalez of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, EWM Realty Miami Beach, ranked third on the list for individual volume, with $173 million from 27 sales.

Gonzalez was followed by Lourdes Alatriste of Engel & Vöelkers Miami, who sold $124 million in 14.5 sales.

They were among several Miami agents who made this year’s list.

The report highlighted Monique Pennen-Wills of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices – EWM Realty Brickell, who sold 45 homes in 2019. The report noted that Pennen-Wills hails from Columbia and is fluent in Spanish, French and English.

“The day she arrived in the diverse community of Miami 20 years ago, she knew that she had found her new home and a city that was in the midst of an extraordinary period of growth and optimism,” the report noted. “Monique has been one of Miami’s leading luxury real estate professionals for over 15 years. She is still as passionate about real estate and working with clients as she was on her very first day.”

RE/MAX was the most highly represented brand in the list for the sixth year running. A total of 42 RE/MAX agents made the 2019 list, followed by 32 from Century 21 and 28 from Keller Williams Realty. Realogy had 77 agents make the list this year across all of its brands.
