Douglas Elliman, one of the largest real estate companies nationwide, announced the opening of their 18th South Florida office in the Bay Harbor Island community on Thursday, Sept. 6. The new location will be led by managing broker Judith Corcos and accompanied by award-winning Realtors Ilene Tessler and Bonnie Brooks. Ilene’s daughters, Michele and Joanna, will also be joining the team. “Bay Harbor is an exceptionally desirable neighborhood that offers a one of a kind lifestyle,” said Judith Corcos, managing broker, Douglas Elliman. “Opening an office here was a natural fit for our company’s further growth and I look forward to working alongside Ilene and Bonnie and the Open Door Miami team as we bring the new office to life.”

The brokerage’s chief executve, Jay Phillip Parker, added that the decision to expand services in Bay Harbor, a “pivotal area,” was necessary to better serve clients.

Widely considered one of South Florida’s “hidden gems,” Bay Harbor Island is situated between the Miami mainland and Bal Harbour. It has a stock of luxury waterfront homes and boutique-style condos, and is highly walkable with easy access to popular shops and restaurants.
