One Sotheby’s Announces Partnership With Miami Heat

by Farren Washington

ONE Sotheby’s International Realty and the Miami Heat recently announced a multi-year one-sotheby'spartnership. This collaboration makes Miami’s leading luxury brokerage firm the official real estate partner of the famed basketball team, which plays out of the AmericanAirlines Arena.

ONE Sotheby’s ultimate goal is to become active promoters of the team’s community stewardship through its many philanthropic endeavors. The firm will provide ongoing support to the team’s philanthropic initiatives via an annual contribution to the Miami Heat Charitable Fund and yearly sponsorship of their Heat Thanksgiving Celebration.

“This partnership is about two incredible brands joining forces to promote what makes Miami the most magnetic metropolis in the world,” said Daniel de la Vega, president of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty. “ONE Sotheby’s International Realty celebrates the heart and soul of our eclectic city just as the Miami HEAT embodies the unique spirit and pulsating energy that is Miami,” he said.

In addition to its philanthropic efforts, ONE Sotheby’s will also have a noteworthy presence during Heat home games. The court-side, next-to-players’ benches (best known for its celebrity and high-profile attendees) and premium sections of the arena will undergo prime branding.

The luxury firm will concurrently launch social media and strategic marketing campaigns, as well as a succession of events to promote the partnership. This year’s event will consist of a massive pep rally involving The Heat Experience (including the Miami Heat Dancers, team mascot Burnie, the Xtreme Team, host Uptown Dale and others).

“Our partnership with One Sotheby’s International Realty reflects a powerful like-mindedness: pursuing excellence at every level of the business,” said Eric Woolworth, President of The HEAT Group’s Business Operations. “Our brands also share one overarching goal: to represent the world class city of Miami with talent and humility.”
