Agent Snapshot: Wren Chambers, Sales Associate, Cervera Real Estate

Wren Chambers

Wren Chambers is a sales associate with Cervera Real Estate

What was your first job in the realty industry? I used to find properties for an investor who gave me a list of telephone numbers to call. I called them and asked if they would be interested in selling their home for full market value. I did that for about 6 months then went to get my license in late 2004.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?I tend to travel to a place where I can have a little peace and quiet. If I don’t have the time to fly to another city then I go to the beach and watch the waves while meditating

Where did you grow up?I grew up in Miami mostly while spending my summers in baltimore or New York.

Growing up, what did you want to be?Growing up I always wanted to be a lawyer. I had my life all planned out since I was 7 years old but things don’t normally work out as planned.

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? The person I would want to have lunch with is Warren Buffet, I’ve always admired his personality and he seems like a very genuine person who will always be relevant. I know it takes alot to become super successful but one conversation with him might change my life, well I would say it would probably change anyones life.

Where is your favorite place to hang out? My favorite place to hang out is prime 112. I don’t go as must as I used to but you can have some very interesting conversations while sitting at the bar.

What do you love most about the industry? I love the fact that you can broker appreciating assets. If you’re successful in the real estate industry then you will have other tremendous opportunities that are easily accessible.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?Well my personality helps me to distinguish myself from other agents. I try to be very enthusiastic when I meet a new client so they see that I am very vivacious and I can get the job done.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? I would say the most difficult aspect of real estate is finding consistent buyers who are not unrealistic. When you work with investors they tend to try and make outrageous low ball offers but when you list their properties they want more than market value.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? I go to different mixers like chamber of commerce events, happy hours at blue martini brickell, and real estate conventions.

What has been your greatest accomplishment? My greatest accomplishment is selling over 100 condos in one calendar year.

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? I saw focus with will smilth recently which was better than expected,

What is your favorite restaurant? My favorite restaurant I would have to say is cheesecake factory. I go atleast once or twice a week.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Miami? My favorite building in miami would have to be SLS brickell

What kind of car do you drive? I drive a Lexus GS and a Toyota Camry

Smartphone or paper? Smartphone of course, who writes anymore

In 10 words or less, what is your favorite city after Miami? Second favorite city would be CHICAGO.

What is your advice for someone new to the industry? Learn the industry and communicate with your clients with confidence…

What’s your favorite real estate iPhone/Android app? Supra Ekey
