Miami Properties Featured at Beijing Luxury Property Show

by Kathryn June Ryan

miami_logoThis April the MIAMI Association of REALTORS®, the largest local Realtor association in the nation, promoted South Florida real estate to Asian luxury buyers at China’s leading property showcase. Miami was one of 220 global cities exhibited at the ninth annual Luxury Property Show Beijing that took place on April 24 through 26 at the Legendale Hotel Beijing.

With more than 35 countries participating, the 2015 LPS Beijing show featured an impressive collection of some of the world’s most luxurious properties. Additionally, Teresa King Kinney, chief executive officer of MIAMI, presented information about the Miami and South Florida real estate market to over 5,200 real estate buyers and investors for Beijing and Northern China, the fastest growing sections of South Florida’s foreign buyers.

Christopher Zoller, 2015 MIAMI Residential President and event participant, commented on Miami’s presence at the event.

“The presence of Chinese buyers in South Florida is definitely growing,” said Zoller. “South Florida has long led the nation in international real estate sales, and we feel very strongly that China, the world’s most populated country, will only increase Miami real estate sales to foreign buyers.”

Interest in the city is expected to grow due to Miami’s world-famous lifestyle, educational institutions and other positive attributes.

In addition to Christopher Zoller, many other MIAMI members participated in LPS Bejing 2015, including Oscar Teran of Avanti Way, Edward Cruz of The Agency Cruz and Jesse Pan of Coldwell Banker.
