Every week, we ask a Miami real estate professional for their thoughts on the top three stories from the week before. This week, we spoke with Dina Goldentayer and Sladja Stantic, Realtors with ONE Sotheby’s International Realty and principal members of The DS Team.

Miami Agent (MA): Working as team, what best ways have you found to balance work?

Dina Goldentayer (DG): There’s no I in Team. We make sacrifices to see that our clients are happy. That may mean that I have to work late into the evening, but can count on my partner, Sladja, to assist with weekend tasks. Or vice versa, we may have weeks of intense periods especially during high season, yet in the Summer we can travel more and have a slower pace.

Sladja Stantic (SS): We can’t be all things to all people, but when we commit to our clients, the team contributes to make sure that the job is done. Being a real estate agent sometimes means that you are also an interior designer, psychologist, and friend to your clients, so it is equally important to make time to regroup my energy.

MA: Luxury condo and home development is a big market in Miami at the moment. What drivers do you see keeping this trend sustainable in the long run?

DG: Miami today is not the Miami of ten or twenty years ago. While there may be a scarcity of land for waterfront new development, the trend is moving inland. As long as there is demand, which is soon to include clients from Asia and the Middle East who didn’t traditionally consider Miami as a hub for investment, developers will find ways to build. And, while Miami Beach is the area that gets the most buzz, developers are looking North and up the coast where values are less rare.

SS: The talk is now about residential record sale penthouses and mansions on the water, but there is so much more to do on the commercial aspect too. Offices, Shopping Centers, Hotels and entertainment venues are our city’s infrastructure, and these development opportunities are attracting international attention from major players.

MA: In an increasingly digital world, what is your group doing to stay relevant online?

DG & SS: Our brand is consistent. It’s important that the online viewers can make the connection with our logo on everything from our luxury website, to weekly media posts and online tours. We continue to raise the standards on the high-end real estate market by now offering the viewers an animated video tour of our properties using the latest hi-tech gadget – the Drone camera. The DS Team represents a large scope of diverse properties from South of Fifth Penthouses to Oceanfront Townhomes each with a unique look allowing for a multitude of versatile marketing tools. This keeps our brand fresh and attracts a diverse client base from New York hedge fund managers to European real estate investors and local Miami Beach families too. Through digital media, we can share our marketing tools with the largest amount of people in the shortest amount of time. Social Media has become the main stream to stay connected. You can find The DS Team on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Tumblr featuring our Blogspot.
