RE/MAX Advance Realty (RMA), Miami’s largest RE/MAX office, is pleased to announce the addition of Mickey Lopez to its team. Lopez comes to RMA after nine years with Southeast Properties, where he specialized in commercial real estate sales. Before working in real estate, Lopez had a ten-year career in Major League Baseball, playing second base for the Florida Marlins, Seattle Mariners and San Francisco Giants.

“Mickey’s sales talent and communication skills earned him numerous honors in his previous office, and we are really excited to add such an experienced and savvy associate to our team,” said Anthony Askowitz, broker/owner of RMA. “The competitive and professional instincts which carried him to a decade-long career in baseball have served him well in this industry.”

“My career in sports has given me an appreciation for genuine team work and team spirit, and I see plenty of both here at RMA,” said Lopez. “I am thrilled to be a part of this particular office, as well as the incredibly strong RE/MAX global network.”

Lopez graduated from Miami’s Westminster Christian School before attending Florida State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in sports management. He will provide commercial and residential real estate services to clients throughout Miami-Dade County from RMA’s South Miami office.
