The Crimson condominiums will be the latest residential development in the Edgewater area.

The Crimson – Residences on Biscayne Bay will be the third installment to the newly formed Edgewater neighborhood, according to Stephen Gietl and Fernando Levy Hara, principals of Mckafka Development Group.

The Edgewater region of downtown Miami has recently announced several residential developments, which will make the area more appealing and desirable to live in. The condominiums at Crimson will be the latest addition to the up-and-coming neighborhood.

“The Crimson is the perfect addition to the Edgewater neighborhood,” Gietl said. “We anticipate to break ground on The Crimson in the fall and hope to have a completion date in the spring of 2015.”

Features of The Crimson Residences

This new project, located in close proximity to Biscayne Bay, will feature one-, two- and three-bedroom residences, penthouses and townhomes. The Crimson units will range from approximately 780 to 1600 square feet spanning nine different floor plans. The building offers six penthouses equipped with an outdoor terrace, summer kitchen and private hot tub. Each unit will come with a storage unit in the parking garage.

As an LEED Silver building, each unit will come with Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF), which will provide energy efficient and cost effective cooling and heating for the units. They will also come equipped with a water meter, so each unit can control and monitor usage.

The Crimson will also come with a variety of amenities, such as an 8th floor pool deck, a landscaped promenade sundeck, hot tub, outdoor/indoor movie theater, a cybercafe, lounge, business centre, zen room, gym and spa. The condominium complex will also provide a boardwalk along Biscayne Bay that meets a brand new park, where tenants can enjoy a morning stroll or dog walking.
