The Palm Beach mansion of convicted white collar criminal Bernie Madoff’s sister-in-law has been listed for sale at $6.5 million, according to The Palm Beach Post.
Listed by Sotheby’s International Realty, the one-story mansion features five bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, an in-ground pool and approximately 5,473 sq ft of living space.
Marion Madoff and husband Peter, brother of Bernie Madoff, purchased the home in 2001 for $3.8 million, according to The Wall Street Journal. Sole ownership of the estate was transferred to Mrs. Madoff in 2006.
Bernard Madoff is currently serving a 150 year sentence in Federal prison, according to The Post.
