Work Experience:
Founded in the mid-1980s, Waterbrook Developers, LLC is active in the development and construction of a wide variety of homes in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties. The company’s primary markets are luxury condominiums and custom-built homes. The company’s two principals, L. William Rudnick and Thomas Yianilos, have more than 70 years of combined experience in the development, construction and management of South Florida real estate.
Waterbrook has developed or built in the following communities: St. Andrews Country Club, Parkside, Boca Pointe Country Club and The Oaks in Boca Raton; Ternbridge, Meadow Run, Meadow Run West and Tall Pines in Parkland; Riverside Walk and Kensington Glen in Coral Springs; Ventura in Delray Beach; Coral Ridge Waterfront Properties in Fort Lauderdale; 1 Ocean Boulevard in Deerfield Beach; and Peninsula on the Intracoastal in Boynton Beach.
In addition to his role at Waterbrook Developers, Rudnick is also chairman of the board and president of Mission Real Estate Corp., a developer and owner of rental apartments.
Current Projects:
Waterbrook’s latest development, Da Vinci on the Ocean, is located directly on the ocean in Sunny Isles Beach in Miami-Dade County. The project features 69 units over 27 floors, with a maximum of three units per floor, and each with private elevator and foyer. Priced from $1.3 million, sales of Da Vinci on the Ocean are going strong.
Also in progress is Peninsula on the Intracoastal in Boynton Beach. This gated enclave consists of 40 condominium units, 20 three-story townhomes and 10 coach homes with private yards. Peninsula will be completed in the first quarter of 2008.
Recently Completed Projects:
Waterbrook recently completed and delivered 81 condominium units in Deerfield Beach called 1 Ocean Boulevard and three homes valued at more than $3 million each. The company also initiated the development of the 324-lot gated community The Oaks at Boca Raton. Anticipated build-out value is about $1 billion.
Community Involvement:
Throughout his career, Rudnick has been active in business and civic organizations, including builders associations, zoological foundations, Rotary Clubs and financial organizations.
Passions:
Rudnick’s No. 1 passion is real estate development. He also enjoys yachting and golfing.
