Born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, Michelle Gemmell owned and operated a global marketing company while managing and promoting mixed martial arts athletes from around the world. After years of successfully operating multiple companies, Gemmell decided to make a major change. “Moving to the U.S. eight years ago was both the best decision and biggest challenge of my life,” she admits. “Being here and having the abundance of possibilities at my fingertips is an unimaginable feat.”
Inspired by her brother Tony’s success in the industry, Gemmell jumped at the opportunity to join his team and build their business together. With her personal, hands-on approach, she guides clients from start to finish. “I’ll never forget buying my first home in this country; it was simply quite terrifying,” she recalls. “I remind myself of this feeling at the start of each new client relationship.”
With professionalism and personal client relationships as the foundation of the team’s success, Gemmell works hard to build relationships with clients and referral partners, treating each scenario as a priority. “My goal is to ensure my borrowers know that I care about them, rather than just the transaction,” she explains. “I care about the process, the experience and most importantly, getting my clients their desired results in the most stress-free way possible.”
