Nicknamed the “Condo King,” Miami loan originator David Caporini has the experience, knowledge and confidence to close complicated files with ease. The veteran of the south Florida mortgage industry specializes in condominium mortgages, with over 75% of his business being condos.
Caporini’s clients describe him as thorough, efficient, communicative and attentive. “Mortgages can be quite complicated to a layman,” he says. “I do things in baby steps so clients and realtors don’t get too overwhelmed.”
Caporini says he doesn’t want to waste anyone’s time — he makes sure the realtors he works with bring buyers in to talk to him before they start looking for properties. “I don’t want my realtors wasting time with buyers who don’t qualify for loans they’re seeking.”
After 24 years in the industry, Caporini has a closing average of $20 million annually. “People automatically sense the experience and confidence I offer,” Caporini says. “They know I will take very good care of them and make sure they close on time with the best terms.”
Outside of work, Caporini’s philanthropic efforts include Sabrina’s Adaptive Beach and The Smart Ride, a charity ride from Miami to Key West that raises funds for LGBTQ individuals impacted by AIDS. This year, he’ll participate in his 10th ride.
