Broker-Owner
Space Realty
Carlos Tomas Ramos believes that real estate is about the people, no matter who they are and what they need. “I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I always focus on building great relationships,” says Ramos, broker and owner of Space Realty.
Working with buyers, sellers and investors in both the commercial and residential markets, Ramos assists clients regardless of budget or long-term goals. With 80 percent of his business coming from homes priced at $500,000 or less, Ramos prioritizes building strong, long-lasting relationships above all else. “When something new comes my way, I make sure to become an expert in it,” he explains. “I believe in giving myself to my clients and exceeding their expectations by all means necessary.”
A business owner since the age of 20, first in the automotive service product industry before transitioning to real estate, Ramos is an entrepreneur at heart, always aiming high while staying grounded. Focusing on his clients’ satisfaction over industry accolades, Ramos cites the smiles on the faces of his buyers and sellers after they close a transaction as his biggest reward.
In 2018, Ramos managed four simultaneous closings, guiding the seller through the process of using their equity from their current home to purchase a new home. “I love the challenge of getting these done for my customers,” he says. “It’s a great avenue for them to downsize or upsize without needing to rent a property while searching for a new home.”
Last year, Ramos’ two 18-year-old sons joined him at his brokerage, turning it into a family business with even greater potential.
Relying on word of mouth to market his properties, Ramos taps into his extensive network of lenders and clients to gain exposure. Ramos is a Realtor and is a member of the Women’s Council of Realtors and the local Realtors Commercial Alliance.
Outside work, he indulges his curiosity about quantum physics and the universe through reading and watching programs on the subject. He also enjoys having intellectual discussions with his peers to stimulate his mind.
