Jill Penman

Jill Penman
Global Real Estate Advisor
One Sotheby’s International Realty

Jill Penman fully embraces her role as a global real estate advisor with One Sotheby’s International Real Estate, working tirelessly to provide high-quality service for her clients in the Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, South Miami, Pinecrest, Key Biscayne and Brickell markets. “I love working with sellers who have a reason to sell and aren’t just ‘testing’ the market. I take my job seriously, and I want to work with people that are serious, too,” she says, adding that her buyers are all referral-based and are frequently relocating from other cities, such as Chicago, Boston and New York. In 2017, Jill closed almost $39 million in sales volume across 75 transactions, her fifth consecutive year of $30 million-plus in sales volume.

Coming from a real estate family and a background in sales, Penman first joined the real estate industry 15 years ago, opting for a career that would allow her the flexibility to work on her own terms as she raised her children. This year, even with four kids enrolled at three different schools, Penman increased her sales volume and ranked in the top five among the 800 agents at her market-leading brokerage. Her husband, Matt Kujawa, a seasoned marketer, also joined the group to manage her expanded marketing and operations.

A member of the Master Brokers Forum of Miami-Dade County, the Women’s Council of Realtors and the Miami Association of Realtors, Penman is known for her sharp negotiation tactics, drive and industry knowledge. “Working feels more like doing my hobby, my passion and my job all at once,” she says. Penman is also a member of the Coconut Grove Chamber of Commerce and a fellow at The Kampong in Coconut Grove, where she serves on the annual Bali Ha’i Event Committee. Even with her busy schedule, she makes time to indulge her love of cooking.
