Fluent in Portuguese, French, Spanish and English, this multilingual Realtor is as comfortable in the real estate arena as he is in the information technology sector. In a previous role, he designed database-driven websites as an independent web architect. Today he leverages this technological advantage to use online real estate tools to achieve clients’ goals. “My tech-savvy background allows me to harness the power of the World Wide Web to use it to my clients’ advantage in ways that other agents sometimes can’t, and that can make a tremendous difference in terms of dollars and cents,” explains de Souza. “My career affords me the opportunity to meet interesting people from around the world and to showcase Miami’s beautiful homes, so I’m thankful that today’s technology makes doing so that much easier.”

He is particularly adept at serving international buyers and sellers, his patience and professionalism earning their confidence that every transaction he oversees will be expertly and efficiently managed. “They know they can trust me,” he points out, adding that no obstacle is intractable. “What might seem like the most impossible challenge is what motivates me to work even harder!” he adds. He takes extreme care to ensure each closing occurs on time without any hiccups because, as de Souza puts it, “Nothing is more rewarding than seeing the happiness on people’s faces when they know that the home they’ve always wanted is finally theirs.”

The father of two sons ages 11 and 14, de Souza says raising his children is his greatest personal achievement. He likens the care and attention he gives to them to the way he approaches his client relationships. “I want people who rely on my real estate skill and know-how to realize that I’ll always put their best interest first because I understand that buying and selling a home is a major life decision,” he says. “I’m just grateful they’ve selected me to help them navigate that complex process because being chosen to do so is both an honor and a privilege.”
